PEX method of Engel

PEX Pipes 3/8″ – 1″ are manufactured by continuous extrusion of infinite length technology based on the method of Engel (peroxide cross-linking). Reduce “PE” comes from the name “polyethylene” and “X” means of chemical modification of polyethylene, which is the formation of cross-linking molecules. Cross-links increase the strength of polyethylene at high temperatures, which allows the use of PEX in different areas of radiant heat supply.

Within d 75-160 mm for enhancing the strength of the hydraulic design of pipes reinforced with Kevlar thread.

Properties pipe PEX, to ensure their widest dissemination in the areas of heat and water

- The material is absolutely not subject to corrosion and is neutral with respect to any aggressive environment;

- Thanks to antikislorodnogo barrier of hydroxide etilvinila deposited on the pipe at the factory, the chimney does not transmit oxygen, which ensures longevity of heating systems;

- Working pressure of 6 / 10 kg/cm2 at t0 +95 C0;

- Low friction for plumbing, internal smooth surface of the pipe does not allow consolidation of sediment and overgrown by impurities in the water, eliminating water treatment on the SVS;

- Smooth surface of the pipe also reduces the diameter of pipelines, which cheapens the cost of heating systems;

- Pipe material environmentally clean

For their properties tubes can be used in heating systems, hot and cold plumbing, transportation, food or chemically active fluids, systems, floor heating

- Low pressure drop and withstand high velocity plumbing;
- Working temperature range within which the tube does not change its properties – from -100 to + 95 grad.S. Can withstand short-term increase in temperature to 110 grad.S. Testing of pipes up to 100 cycles of freeze-thaw did not lead to rupture of the pipe;
- Products of PEX pipes are flexible, easy to bend, cut and joined at installation;

- The life of the inner carrier pipe Chem. modified polyethylene is practically unlimited;

- High abrasion resistance, high electrical resistance;
- Resistance to cracking under stress, even at high temperatures.
